Job Description


Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development person to lead growth initiatives across our portfolio of financial products, including mutual funds, insurance, mortgage, AIF-PMS, multi-asset broking services etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing distribution partners (e.g., IFAs, brokers, insurance agents, and channel partners), driving cross-sell strategies, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue.
Key Responsibilities:1. Distributor Onboarding & Enablement:Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential IFAs, distributors, brokers, insurance agents and other channel partners.Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, including documentation, compliance verification, and training.Conduct product and sales training to enhance distributor capability and drive product penetration.2. Cross-Selling & Portfolio Growth:Identify and implement cross-sell opportunities within the existing partner network across financial products.Drive increased wallet share from existing partners through strategic relationship management and education.3. Market Expansion:Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Provide insights on product enhancements and new opportunities based on client feedback and industry changes.4. Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distribution partners to ensure loyalty and sustained business growth.Act as a primary point of contact for partner support, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.Deliver consistent partner communication, performance insights, and growth plans.Continuously optimize sales processes to improve partner performance and revenue contribution.5. Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all partner activities comply with regulatory and internal policies.Keep distribution partners informed and compliant with evolving regulations and internal standards.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. Strong understanding of financial products including mutual funds, insurance, loans, and investments.3. Proven experience in distributor onboarding and cross-sell strategy execution.4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
