KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Review of drawings and Materials. Review and approve PPAP documents (Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, etc.) Validate processes for new supplier Development and New Sample Approval. Define Key Quality Characteristics (KQCs) and Inspection Standards. Conduct process audits & Evaluate capability of processes and facility. Monitor and evaluate supplier quality metrics: PPM, NCR trends. Drive root cause analysis & Work with suppliers on CAPA and monitor implementation effectiveness. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Degree: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or production Engineering. Experience: 68 years in Supplier quality for Rubber Parts, Hoses, Hyd. Fittings and Hardware etc. Familiar with standards, Rubber (ASTM D2000, ISO 3601) hose assembly testing (SAE J517, ISO1436, etc.) and Fasteners (ISO 898, IS 1367, DIN/ASTM standards). Strong understanding of Rubber molded components, Hydraulic hoses and crimped fittings and Fasteners. Experience: 68 years in Supplier quality for Fabrication, Machining, Casting and Forging etc. Experience in handling Fabrication Supplier parts and ensuring timely resolutions. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 (welding), ASME, ASTM, AWS D1.1 (NDT certification preferable). Experience in handling Supplier parts and ensuring timely resolutions Understanding of construction equipment (Compactors, rollers, Pavers etc.), and their components. Knowledge of Microsoft excel, Power Point and SAP. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and must be familiar with industry standards. Excellent communication and presentation skills. German language skills will be an added advantage.

Role & responsibilities Manage Operational sourcing for various commodities & primarily serve as a purchasing buyer for fabrication , castings, imports, Plastics, Rubber, etc. Assure material in right quantity for running the assembly lines. Support the senior members in execution of their strategies. Supervise coordination of Engineering changes with suppliers and relevant internal departments until implementation on the assembly line. Should have decent exposure to MRP planning, VMI, KANBAN, scheduling of parts based on company forecasts etc. Ensure good cooperation with global BOMAG organization. Have a tight co-ordination with internal logistics team. Preparation, communication and monitoring of Supplier Capacity Plans. Reviewing and controlling inventory at plant and Supplier level. Implement ECN changes in the machine along with Liasoning between supplier, Quality and Design department. Closely co-ordinate with the supplier Quality team during different procurement stages to ensure that the right quality reaches assembly lines. Preferred candidate profile 1. Bachelors degree in mechanical or production engineering 2. Flair for supply Chain, Procurement, KANBAN management,VMI etc. 3. Fluency in Hindi is mandatory. Marathi is an added advantage since supplier base would be predominantly in and around Pune. 4. Readiness to travel a minimum of 8-10 days a month. 5. Core Commodities: - Mix of commodities including local & imports.
