BIM Coordinator

You are a talented and motivated BIM Coordinator - MEP who will play a crucial role in our team. Specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, you will lead the seamless coordination and implementation of BIM processes for MEP projects. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the successful execution of various international projects. In this role, you will apply your technical knowledge and engineering production skills in a BIM environment for projects. Leading a team in BIM model and drawing production, you will coordinate with discipline leads of multiple disciplines. It will be your responsibility to ensure model delivery compliance with project and company standards, meeting clients" Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and coordinating clash detection and resolution activities. Collaborating with lead engineers and other discipline leads, you will support the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and project delivery strategy. Additionally, you will assist clients in coordinating multi-discipline BIM environments for large or complex projects. Your accountabilities will include regular communication with clients, providing project status reports, coordinating clash detection and resolution activities, creating federated models from different discipline models, providing oversight on workflow, and addressing issues with clients. You will also support engineers in adhering to drawing standards and using BIM software, mentor team members, assist with modeling, ensure the latest model is up to date and stored correctly in the project management system, and develop skills in managing large and complex BIM projects. Performing QA/QC on technical drawings before submission to the BIM Manager for final review, overseeing drawing production, ensuring adherence to company/project standards and procedures, verifying Quality Requirements In Accordance With Company Systems, and providing advanced BIM training on software and processes to the team if needed are part of your responsibilities. Your required skills include the ability to read and comprehend schematics, technical submittals, drawings, and project specifications, proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, experience in setting up and producing Revit models, ensuring there are enough resources and inputs to deliver projects effectively, ability to plan deliverables systematically, create service designs to support the development of coordinated models, provide input into technical standards, templates, workflows, and procedures to enhance the quality of deliverables, facilitate BIM Standards & ISO 19650 standards development and implementation, flexibility to work with US/Canada Region Standards, and knowledge of national codes essential for compliance and safety regulations.
