BIM Automation Developer

As a skilled professional in Dynamo scripting, you will be responsible for automating repetitive tasks within Scan to BIM workflows. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing Dynamo scripts to streamline processes effectively. Your role will involve creating innovative tools for point cloud processing, data extraction, model validation, and geometry generation. You will collaborate closely with BIM teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and propose automation solutions to enhance productivity. In addition to script development, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating a Dynamo script library for internal use, ensuring scalability and efficiency in project workflows. You will also provide support to QA/QC teams by creating automation tools for model accuracy checks, naming conventions, and LOD compliance. Your expertise in Dynamo, encompassing advanced visual scripting and Python scripting for custom nodes and intricate workflows, will be essential for success in this role. Furthermore, your extensive experience with the Autodesk Revit API and proficiency in C# programming for developing Revit add-ins will be valuable assets. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you debug complex code and scripts to optimize performance. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles is crucial for developing robust automation solutions.
