Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and visualizations using
TIBCO Spotfire
.
Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
Optimize Spotfire performance and apply best practices in visualization and data storytelling.
Integrate data from multiple sources such as
SQL databases, APIs, Excel, SAP
, or cloud platforms.
Implement advanced analytics using
IronPython scripting
,
data functions
, and
R/Statistical integration
.
Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Support end-users with training, troubleshooting, and dashboard enhancements.

Must-Have Skills:

58 years of experience in
BI and Data Visualization
.
Minimum 4 years hands-on with
TIBCO Spotfire
including custom expressions and calculated columns.
Strong knowledge of
data modeling
,
ETL processes
, and
SQL scripting
.
Expertise in
IronPython scripting
for interactivity and automation within Spotfire.
Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning visualizations.

Good to Have:

Experience with
R
,
Python
, or
Statistica
for advanced analytics in Spotfire.
Familiarity with
cloud-based data platforms
(AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse).
Understanding of
data governance
,
metadata management
, and
access controls
.
Exposure to other BI tools like
Tableau, Power BI
, or
QlikView
.
