The Role: Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our core engineering team. You will be the engineer of the engine that powers our AI co-pilot. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling the highly-performant and secure systems that handle everything from user requests to complex AI-driven workflows. This is a unique opportunity to work on bleeding-edge technology and build a platform that will be used by enterprises around the globe.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs that serve as the backbone of our AI platform.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability, implementing caching strategies with tools like Redis to ensure real-time, interactive user experiences.
• Develop and manage the data and processing pipelines that are critical for our AI models and workflow automation.
• Work with message queues (like Kafka or RabbitMQ) to create resilient, asynchronous systems capable of handling a high volume of tasks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, backed by solid unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to system design discussions, helping to build an architecture that is scalable, reliable, and ready for the future of AI.
• Take ownership of our CI/CD processes and contribute to our DevOps culture on a modern cloud stack.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and sensitive enterprise data by following industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Solid Fundamentals:

  2-3 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Performance & Caching:

  Practical experience with caching technologies like

  Redis or Memcached

  and a knack for diagnosing performance bottlenecks.

• Pipeline & Queueing Experience:

  Hands-on experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and data pipelines.

• DevOps Mindset:

  Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (E2E/AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Commitment to Quality:

  A strong background in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.

• Security-First Approach:

  A good understanding of web application security principles.

• Language Proficiency:

  Proficiency in a modern backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.

• Database Knowledge:

  Experience with both relational (like PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
