Backend Engineer

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building APIs that can efficiently handle thousands of requests per second, ensuring reliability and performance. Your role will involve delivering full features end-to-end, from CMS data modeling to production, as well as participating in technical design and code reviews. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain and enhance internal tooling, and approach complex technical challenges with a solution-driven mindset. We are looking for a solution-oriented, outcome-focused engineer with experience in TypeScript, Rust, JavaScript, or similar modern languages. A solid understanding of cloud-native engineering practices such as continuous delivery & integration, walking skeleton architecture, and pipeline automation is essential. You should be capable of owning the entire development lifecycle from development to deployment and possess working knowledge of MySQL and MSSQL databases. Bonus skills that would be advantageous include backend development with TypeScript, exposure to Rust & WebAssembly, experience with RESTful API and messaging technologies, AWS-native solution building, CI/CD automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenSearch.
