Job Description

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Azure DevOps Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in leading DevOps initiatives across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Azure DevOps, a passion for automation and continuous improvement, and the ability to mentor development teams in adopting best practices.

As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and scaling CI/CD pipelines, driving DevOps adoption, and collaborating closely with software developers, QA teams, and IT operations to ensure high performance and reliability of build and release processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple development teams.

- DevOps Leadership : Lead and mature DevOps practices within the organization, aligning with industry standards and organizational goals.

- Mentoring & Training : Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for developers and QA engineers on DevOps tools, CI/CD practices, and automation techniques.

- Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.

- Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor pipeline performance and reliability, and continuously identify opportunities to improve deployment speed, quality, and stability.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Utilize tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.

- Security & Compliance : Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met across the DevOps lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in IT, with at least 4 years dedicated to Azure DevOps.

- Proven track record of successfully implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for enterprise-scale applications.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.

- Familiarity with Git, YAML pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes is a plus).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

- Deep understanding of DevOps principles: automation, monitoring, configuration management, and continuous feedback.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Exposure to cloud-native application development and microservices architecture
