Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud Architecture:
Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. Utilize services such as Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
CI/CD Pipelines:
Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for automated code deployments, using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
Application Deployment & Management:
Lead the deployment and management of complex applications in a cloud environment. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and rapid application delivery.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep for scalable and repeatable deployments.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Set up monitoring and alerting systems for cloud infrastructure and applications. Ensure performance optimization through proper resource allocation, scaling, and troubleshooting of cloud-based services.
Security Best Practices:
Ensure that security best practices are adhered to in cloud deployments. Manage access control, identity management, and data encryption to maintain secure environments.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams to solve complex infrastructure issues, and take an active role in improving overall DevOps practices and strategies.
Troubleshooting & Incident Response:
Provide advanced troubleshooting support for production and pre-production environments. Handle incident responses and lead post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related field.
Strong hands-on experience with
Azure Cloud Services
and solutions.
Proven experience with
CI/CD
tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) for automating application deployments.
Solid experience in managing and deploying applications in
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
and
Azure App Services
.
Expertise in
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools such as
Terraform
,
ARM Templates
, or
Azure Bicep
.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and microservices.
Deep understanding of
Azure Compute
,
Networking
,
Storage
, and
Identity Management
.
Proficient in scripting languages like
PowerShell
,
Bash
, or
Python
for automation tasks.
Experience with
monitoring
and
logging
tools like
Azure Monitor
,
Log Analytics
, or
Prometheus
.
Familiarity with security practices in Azure, including network security, IAM, and data protection.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly preferred.
Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
Familiarity with
serverless
architectures and technologies such as
Azure Functions
.
Knowledge of
Agile methodologies
and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience in Medical sciences domain.
