AWS Glue Python Developer

As an AWS Glue Python Developer, you will utilize your 4 to 5+ years of relevant experience to design and implement efficient data models, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance. Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. You will be expected to write complex SQL queries, develop and maintain Python scripts and applications, and leverage your deep knowledge of AWS services to build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources is a plus. Knowledge of PySpark for big data processing and analysis is desirable, and proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration is required. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing optimizations for data processing pipelines, maintaining data quality, collaborating with other teams, and documenting all data engineering processes and projects. Qualifications for this role include at least 4-5 years of experience in data engineering roles, with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies. Proficiency in data modelling, SQL, and Python is essential, along with demonstrated expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and version control using Git and GitHub. Experience with PySpark and big data processing is a plus.
