Role Overview: Sales Growth Manager Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Experience Required: 8–10 years in FMCG Sales Strategy & Operations Previous Experience: RSM/ASM/Sales Strategist- FMCG Education: Bachelors Degree (MBA Preferred) This role focuses on developing and executing sales growth strategies, leading channel expansion, and driving revenue through sharp execution and team leadership. You’ll lead sales planning, team discipline, and distributor networks, and collaborate across marketing and operations to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Growth Execution Develop and implement robust sales strategies and go-to-market plans (General Trade, Wholesale, Cash & Carry). Drive channel penetration , identify growth pockets, and establish scalable revenue engines. Lead promotions, incentive structures , and schemes to drive monthly and quarterly sales targets. Build and manage sales forecasts and budgets. 2. Sales Team & Distributor Management Own the performance of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Officers (SOs) and Sales Executives (SEs) . Appoint and manage distributor relationships —onboarding, order management, payout tracking, and stock discipline. Drive training, daily discipline, and performance tracking across the sales team. 3. Sales Enablement & Operations Optimize the order lifecycle , ensure daily per-shop sales reporting , and monitor the sales app . Implement tools and dashboards to improve sales team efficiency and accountability. Ensure timely collections and closure of commercial terms with trade partners. 4. Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data . Benchmark against competition , gather on-ground insights, and build feedback loops for product and marketing. Provide performance reports and growth recommendations to senior leadership. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing to drive: Customer engagement events Sampling and activation campaigns Promoter and merchandiser management What We’re Looking For 8–10 years of FMCG experience with a proven track record of driving growth in Sales Strategy & Operations. Deep expertise in channel sales, distribution models , and managing sales hierarchies. Strong grip on MS Excel , reporting dashboards, and sales tracking tools.
