Electronic Hardware & PCB Design Engineer (Power Electronics Focus) Location: Bangalore Experience: 1–3 Years Department: Hardware Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Electronic Hardware & PCB Design Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in circuit design , PCB layout , and power supply design , including DC-DC converters and LDO regulators . The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing robust and efficient hardware systems for embedded and power-sensitive applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, simulate, and validate DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost, etc.) and LDO voltage regulators . Create and maintain schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer , or KiCad . Select and size passive/active components for power electronics circuits based on load requirements, efficiency, and thermal performance. Ensure designs meet electrical safety , EMI/EMC , and thermal management guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, manufacturing) during all design phases. Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and performance testing using lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power analyzers, logic analyzers). Optimize board layout for signal integrity , power integrity , and thermal performance . Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure manufacturability and quality. Maintain documentation, including design files , BOMs , test procedures , and compliance checklists . Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field. 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design and PCB layout . Strong practical knowledge of DC-DC power supply design , LDO design , and voltage/current regulation . Experience with EDA tools like Altium Designer , Kicad , or equivalent. Familiarity with analog and digital circuits , including op-amps, logic ICs, and power devices (MOSFETs, diodes, etc.). Experience in testing and debugging power supplies.
