Automation Test Engineer

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Selenium and Java. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure product quality. This role is based in Mohali, with Hyderabad as the base location. Your key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, creating and executing test scripts for web applications and APIs, identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects through to resolution, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables, performing regression testing, integration testing, and system testing, participating in sprint planning and ensuring timely delivery of QA milestones, analyzing test results and reporting test coverage, defects, and quality metrics, and continuously improving test processes and automation strategies. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, 3-4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java, a strong understanding of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, experience with version control systems like Git, familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar, solid knowledge of testing methodologies and SDLC, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and good communication skills with a team collaboration mindset. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, and the work location is in person at Mohali.
