Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 4 to 6 years
Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automated test scripts.
Design and implement test automation frameworks for web, mobile, or API-based applications.
Perform regression, functional, smoke, and integration testing through automation.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Analyze test results and report defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Maintain documentation related to test cases, automation strategy, and defect reports.
Strong experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or WebDriverIO.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
Good knowledge of API automation using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
