Automation QC Engineer

Position: Automation QC Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for:
• WebCanvas-based web apps
• Native Canvas-based mobile apps

  (iOS & Android

  )
• Cocos-based game applications
• Automate

  API

  and

  WebSocket

  testing for backend services.
• Implement and execute performance testing using tools like

  Locust,

  JMeter

  , or

  k6.

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using

  Python, Appium, Selenium

  , and related tools.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,

  Jenkins, Git Hub Actions

  ).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA team to ensure product quality.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in test automation for mobile/web/game apps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for scripting.
• Experience in testing Canvas-based web and mobile applications.
• Experience with Appium (for mobile), Selenium (for web).
• Familiarity with Cocos engine game testing or reverse engineering game events/logs.
• Proven experience in API and WebSocket testing automation.
• Experience using Locust, JMeter, or k6 for load/performance testing.
• Familiar with tools for data capture and analysis:

  Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark

  .
• Understanding of CI/CD and experience with

  Git.

• Understanding of game rendering loop and ability to track FPS, memory usage, and frame drops.
• Experience testing across multiple devices and screen resolutions.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring SDKs (

  Firebase Performance, GameBench

  , etc.).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for game-specific logic and event validation.
• Product-oriented mindset with attention to UX and in-game logic.

Nice to have:

• Experience with game bot testing or simulating human-like gameplay.
• Familiarity with device farms or emulator orchestration (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or a custom phone farm setup).
• Experience with test result reporting (Allure, Test Rail, custom dashboards).
