Automation Engineer

You are a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and JavaScript/TypeScript. You have a solid background in building automation frameworks and test strategies. This role involves handling both automation (70%) and manual testing (30%) effectively. You will be working in a hybrid model based in Hyderabad. Your key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts using Playwright and Selenium. You will build scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript and execute functional, regression, and system tests across multiple platforms. Collaboration with developers, BAs, and QA leads in Agile teams is crucial to ensure test coverage and product quality. Additionally, you will perform manual testing as required, especially in exploratory and edge case scenarios (approximately 30%). Integration of test suites with CI/CD pipelines and contribution to the test automation strategy are also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must possess 2+ years of experience with Playwright, 4+ years with Selenium, and 3+ years with JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices is essential. Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is required.
