We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman – Design to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fire protection system layouts, detailed drawings, and BOMs as per project specifications and relevant Indian standards (IS/NBC).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings of fire protection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, wet riser, hose reel, etc.) using AutoCAD.
• Read and interpret technical specifications, tender drawings, and site layouts.
• Coordinate with design engineers to translate concepts into accurate shop drawings.
• Generate coordinated service drawings considering architectural and structural constraints.
• Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
• Extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings.
• Assist in as-built drawing preparation and handover documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience in the fire protection or MEP industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and basic knowledge of drawing standards.
• Familiarity with IS 13039, NBC 2016, and fire safety norms preferred.
• Experience in working with piping layouts and pump room drawings.
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with project teams.
• Knowledge of Revit (optional but preferred).
