About the job: We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled software engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, proficiency in coding, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production monitoring, resolving minor technical issues, collecting client information, providing effective client interactions, and supporting our development team in resolving challenges Key responsibilities: 1. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, provide excellent communication, and ensure timely issue resolution. 2. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to software applications in a timely manner. 3. Information Collection: Gather detailed technical information from clients, understand the problem context, and relay the information to the development leads for further action. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with development leads and cross-functional teams to provide timely support and resolution for customer issues. 5. Documentation: Document client issues, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement. 6. Software Development Lifecycle: Be involved in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing software through its lifecycle, including bug fixes and enhancements. 7. Automating Redundant Support Tasks: (good to have) Should be able to automate the redundant repetitive tasks. Preferred Skills: 1. Cloud Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 2. Cybersecurity Tools Awareness: Exposure to tools such as Cortex XSOAR, SIEM, SOAR, or XDR is a plus. 3. Automation & Scripting: Experience in scripting or automating processes to streamline development and support issue resolution. Solution Design and Planning: Active participation in planning, high-level solution design, and exploration of alternative technical approaches. Enabler Implementation: Define and support the implementation of technical enablers that help evolve the solution intent, working closely with Agile teams. Technical Awareness: Good understanding of the implications of design and architectural decisions on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Architectural Expertise: Experience in architecting, estimating, and designing custom technical solutions and integrations across systems. Added Advantage: Hands-on experience in web-based software development. End-to-end project handling experience from initiation to deployment.
