Associate Director - Strategic IT Finance

Reporting to the Business FP&A Head, the Associate Director of Strategic IT Finance will lead the financial strategy and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop long-term IT financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  Own and implement financial improvement programs (e.g., ZBB, Chargeback frameworks).Lead IT benchmarking and cost structure optimization initiatives. Support the IT cloud transition strategy, including infrastructure right-sizing. Align IT strategy with financial implications and conduct scenario-based planning.

2. Performance Measurement & KPIs

• Define and monitor KPIs for IT financial health and project performance.
• Ensure IT investments demonstrate impact on revenue growth, efficiency, or risk mitigation.
• Use ROI, TCO, and payback metrics to prioritize and evaluate initiatives.
  

3. IT Investment Governance & Benefit Realization

• Oversee financial governance of IT project portfolios, including TCO and ROI assessment.
• Support business cases and benefit realization tracking for major IT initiatives.
• Drive prioritization of high-value, business-aligned investments.
  

4. Operational Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the finance partner to CIO, IT leadership, SAR Controllers, and senior business stakeholders.
• Translate financial insights into IT strategy and vice versa for effective communication.
• Serve as the financial liaison within IT to ensure strong cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

Education

• Required:

  Master's degree in Business Administration with further education in IT or Engineering (or vice versa)

• Preferred:

  MBA or PhD in Business Administration or Information Technology from a top-tier business school

Certifications

• Professional finance or IT certifications preferred (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, PgMP)
