Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons aligned with the IB framework (EYP).
Support small group or one-on-one student activities under teacher direction.
Help prepare classroom materials and maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
Supervise students during class activities, transitions, and outdoor play or field trips.
Encourage student independence, inquiry, and reflection consistent with IB philosophy.
Assist with documentation of student progress, portfolios, and assessment data.
Provide administrative support including photocopying, filing, and updating student records.
Collaborate with other staff members to support students with diverse learning needs.
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents (if required), while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree (preferably in Education or a related field)
Experience in an international or IB school is preferred
Familiarity with the IB learner profile and inquiry-based learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
Basic IT skills and comfort with digital learning tools
