Job Description

Pick up and deliver diagnostic samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) from various hospital departments or patient collection centres. Transport diagnostic reports and results to respective departments or clinics. Ensure timely delivery and pick-up in accordance with hospital protocols and schedules. Maintain the cold chain and bio-safety protocols for specimen transportation. Maintain logbooks, delivery records, and other documentation as required. Follow infection control and safety protocols while handling medical materials. Communicate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to coordinate pickups/deliveries. Report any delays, accidents, or issues encountered during delivery. Keep the delivery vehicle (bike/scooter) clean and in working condition. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., oil, brakes, lights) regularly. Adhere to road safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
