Assistant Professors Physical Education, Punjabi, English & Political Science

YS College is inviting dynamic, qualified, and passionate educators to join its academic team as Lecturers/Assistant Professors in the above disciplines. These appointments are in line with our proposed Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science (BA CS) program and subject to MRSPTU approval. Eligibility Criteria (As per MRSPTU & AICTE Norms) 1. Educational Qualifications: Punjabi, English and Political Science: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade). NET / PhD as per UGC norms is mandatory (NET may be relaxed for candidates with PhD as per UGC 2009/2016 guidelines). Physical Education: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) with minimum 55% marks . Preference to candidates with NET/PhD in Physical Education. 2. Additional Requirements: Fulfilment of AICTE and MRSPTU faculty eligibility norms. Strong communication skills and command over English and/or Punjabi (as applicable). Experience in outcome-based education and interdisciplinary teaching will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lectures and practical sessions as per curriculum guidelines. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools. Engage in academic advising, mentoring, and student evaluation. Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and professional development. Contribute to research, publications, and academic projects. Ensure compliance with MRSPTU, AICTE, and institutional standards.
