Role & responsibilities An Assistant Professor in Anatomy typically involves teaching undergraduate and graduate students in human anatomy, developing and delivering lectures, leading laboratory sessions, and possibly contributing to research projects . They also guide students on academic choices, course selection, and other academic requirements. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Delivering lectures, leading laboratory sessions, and engaging in other teaching activities for students. Curriculum Development: Contributing to the development and improvement of anatomy curriculum and teaching materials. Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to students, including research students. Research: Conducting research, publishing findings, and potentially supervising research projects. Academic Support: Assisting students with their academic needs, including course choices and program planning. Professional Development: Staying current with advancements in the field of anatomy and attending relevant conferences and workshops. Required Qualifications: MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution. MD or DNB in Anatomy: Master of Medicine (MD) or Diploma in National Board (DNB) in Anatomy. Preferred candidate profile
