Job Description

Develop and maintain curriculum for undergraduate and/or graduate programs, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals.
Conduct original research in their area of expertise, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and present at academic conferences.
Supervise and mentor graduate students and undergraduate research projects, providing guidance in their academic and professional development.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and organizational functions to contribute to institutional governance and policy development.
Engage with the wider academic community through collaborative research projects, partnerships, and outreach programs.
Assist in the academic advising of students, helping them navigate their educational pathways and career aspirations.
Stay current with advancements in their field, including trends in pedagogy and research methodologies, and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes and contribute to accreditation processes as needed.
Fulfill administrative tasks associated with course management, including grading, maintaining student records, and communicating effectively with students regarding their performance.
