Role & responsibilities The Assistant Nursing Superintendent (ANS) plays a crucial role in supporting the Nursing Superintendent in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ANS is responsible for supervising nursing staff across various units, coordinating clinical activities, and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare regulations. The ANS also participates in quality improvement initiatives, handles administrative tasks such as inventory and reporting, and serves as a liaison between nursing teams and hospital management.
