Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation

As an Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation at Acupro Consulting, your key responsibility areas will include preparing and reviewing corporate income tax and withholding tax return filings. You will be required to research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide advisories to clients. Additionally, you will assist with tax planning and forecasting to minimize tax liabilities. Your role will also involve supporting in assessment/audit proceedings by conducting research and drafting submissions before tax and appellate authorities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support for tax clearances and inquiries will be an essential part of your responsibilities. It will be crucial for you to stay informed about changes in tax laws and identify opportunities for tax savings. To be successful in this role, you should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax compliance, litigation, and advisory. A strong knowledge of Indian income tax and international tax laws is required. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to use in this position. Moreover, your written and oral communication skills should be top-notch. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role.
