Exposure to end-user environments with different application technologies (ERP, CRM, ) Knowledge and exposure to Cloud/SaaS environments Fluent in written and spoken English Team player with experience working with multi-cultural team / MNC Pro-active and independent Good knowledge of Business process (Preferably in Manufacturing domain) knowledge and exposure working with different modes of integrations ( ETL, ELT, ESB.) Ability to prioritize assignments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. Role & responsibilities Incident Resolution: Provide Level 2 support for SAP FICO issues, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents escalated from Level 1 support or directly reported by users. Problem Management: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, propose permanent solutions, and work with relevant teams (L1, L3, development) to implement fixes and prevent recurrence. System Configuration & Master Data: Perform configuration changes and master data updates within SAP FI and CO modules as required to resolve issues or support minor enhancements, adhering to established change management processes. User Support & Training: Assist end-users with questions, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to the development of user training materials and documentation. System Monitoring & Health: Monitor SAP FICO system performance, identify potential issues, and ensure system availability and data integrity. Testing: Participate in functional and integration testing for new configurations, enhancements, and system upgrades to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are defect-free. Collaboration: Work closely with business users (Finance, Accounting, Controlling), other SAP module teams (e.g., SD, MM, PP), and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and issue resolution. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for support processes, configurations, solutions, and knowledge base articles. Reporting: Generate reports on support tickets, trends, and system performance as needed. On-Call Support (if applicable): Participate in an on-call rotation for critical issue resolution outside of standard business hours. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. [3-5]+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO support or functional consulting roles in SAP S4/Hana. In-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting. Strong knowledge of SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Solid understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD). Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (e.g., BMC, ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) for incident and problem management. Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with financial business processes and accounting principles. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance SAP FICO certification
