Job Title: Area Sales Officer – Dairy Products
Location: Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹23,000 (Take Home)
Qualification: Diploma or Any Degree
Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Dairy and/or FMCG Products
Industry: Dairy / FMCG / Food Products
1. Market Operations:
o Begin market work at 7:00 AM, with the first call point at this time.
o Complete 30 retailer visits per day, including 5 new calls.
o Adhere to the daily PJP (Pre-Plan Journey); seek prior approval for any changes.
o Submit expense bills to Head Office (HO) on the 1st and 17th of each month.
o Maintain and send distributor-wise manual DSR (Daily Sales Report) to HO before the 3rd of each month.
2. Sales Data and Appearance:
o Carry and update sales data regularly.
o Maintain a neat and professional appearance in dress code/uniform.
3. Reporting and Documentation:
o Report daily Target vs. Actual performance to the reporting manager.
o Appoint at least one distributor with a minimum volume of 100-150 liters per day.
4. Freezer Utilization:
o Ensure accurate documentation of freezer availability and maintenance with HO SAP.
o Manage freezer billing and supply documentation from distributor to retailer.
o Retrieve or reassign freezers from retailers not meeting volume expectations.
5. Market Outstanding:
o Confirm and report COB (Cash on Bill) to HO between the 10th and 15th of each month.
o New parties should not receive credit; reduce credit for existing parties to zero.
o Resolve old outstanding amounts and update inoperative customers' collection status weekly.
6. Customer Volume and Transport:
o Ensure existing customer volumes are maintained.
o Meet monthly target for TCPL (Transport Cost Per Liter) in secondary transport.
o Conduct monthly audits for primary and secondary routes.
7. Daily Tasks:
o Complete daily reporting and planning with ASM (Area Sales Manager) after-market work.
