Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Architectural Draughtsman

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for detail, capable of preparing precise architectural drawings and coordinating across disciplines.

Prepare detailed architectural working drawings in accordance with design intent and industry standards.
Review and interpret building specifications, architectural plans, and construction documents.
Draft basic electrical layouts and beam framing drawings based on design and structural requirements.
Ensure all drawings are technically accurate, precise, and well-detailed for execution.
Coordinate with Structural and MEP consultants to incorporate revisions and resolve any design conflicts.
Modify and update drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, ZWCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp if applicable).
Strong understanding of building construction techniques, materials, and detailing.
Ability to prepare and interpret electrical and structural framing drawings.
Good knowledge of architectural standards, codes, and regulations.
Strong visualization and technical drawing skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities with internal teams and consultants.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
