Job Purpose

Architect

Role & responsibilities

1. Design & Concept Development

• Lead the architectural design process for industrial buildings, commercial spaces, and corporate interiors.
• Develop all stages of drawings – concept, schematic, design development, working drawings, and GFC (Good for Construction).
• Translate client briefs into practical, functional, and aesthetic designs aligned with brand and operational requirements.

2. Project Management

• Manage projects end-to-end, from initial proposal, budgeting, and scheduling to execution and handover.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Monitor project milestones, site progress, and resource allocation.

3. Coordination & Execution

• Collaborate with interior designers, civil/MEP contractors, structural engineers, and fabricators for design alignment and execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee work, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Approve material samples, shop drawings, and supervise finishing standards.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Interface with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders for updates, feedback, and approvals at each project stage.
• Facilitate project meetings, coordinate with procurement teams, and manage vendor performance.

5. Quality Control & Issue Resolution

• Conduct design reviews and site audits to maintain design and construction quality.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues during the construction phase to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handled projects across manufacturing units, commercial complexes, and modern corporate office interiors

• Experience working with design-build teams, general contractors, and multidisciplinary consultants

• Exposure to LEED/IGBC/GREEN building concepts preferred
