Apps Team Lead

As an Apps Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of mobile developers in delivering high-quality apps across various platforms. Your role will involve combining technical expertise with managerial skills to ensure successful project execution and team collaboration. You will lead, manage, and mentor a team of mobile developers working on iOS and Android platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining technical standards, architecture, and development practices, as well as acting as a liaison between the development team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency. In addition, you will oversee project timelines, task allocations, sprint planning, and ensure that deliverables are met on time. Conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and supporting the career growth of team members will also be part of your role. You will facilitate problem-solving, remove roadblocks, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in mobile app development, with a minimum of 3 years in a team lead or managerial position. Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native is required, along with strong project management skills and knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies. Preferred qualifications include experience with Firebase, App Store/Play Store deployment, crash analytics, and app monitoring tools. Exposure to working with cross-functional teams and remote developers, as well as familiarity with mobile backend services on AWS, Azure, or Firebase, would be advantageous.
