Application Tester

As an Application Tester at Pratt & Whitney, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of React.js frontend, Node.js backend, and SQL databases. Your responsibilities will include analyzing user stories, designing and executing test cases, and validating APIs. You will work with Tosca and SonarQube to automate tests and support CI/CD quality gates. Your key responsibilities will involve performing functional, regression, and API testing, automating tests using Tosca, monitoring code via SonarQube, and validating interactions between frontend, backend, and SQL databases. Additionally, you will be responsible for logging bugs, verifying fixes, and collaborating with Agile teams during sprint ceremonies. To excel in this role, you should have experience testing React.js, Node.js, and SQL-based applications, proficiency in Tosca automation and SonarQube, and expertise in manual testing, REST API validation, and test documentation. Familiarity with tools like JIRA and TestRail, along with strong analytical and communication skills, are essential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, ISTQB certification, exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
