Application Development Consultant

Your main responsibilities will include designing and developing custom code for platforms using VB.net, C#, and .Net technologies. You will participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to create software design and architecture. Writing clean and scalable code using .NET programming languages, testing and deploying applications, as well as revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code are also part of your duties. You will be expected to enhance existing software, develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), and serve as an expert on applications while providing technical support. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting application data needs and data models. To excel in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience in applying current information technology to specific business areas. Proficiency in .Net technologies, including Entity Frameworks, experience with Visual Studio, general web-app development (ASP not required), SQL database management, and Microsoft reporting is crucial. You should be skilled in VB.NET or C# (C# preferred), with Java Script knowledge considered a plus. Fluent SQL writing abilities using queries through Linq or similar methods is required. Good communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, and basic organizational, communication, and time management skills are essential. You must be capable of working semi-independently with specified objectives, interacting with supervisors and stakeholders. Active participation as a team member, effective listening, and collaboration skills are also expected. Your work must adhere to approved standards and guidelines, with completed tasks reviewed for conformance to standards, timeliness, and efficiency.
