As a UI Developer, your responsibilities will include leading the development of intricate user interfaces and UI components for Android Automotive OS applications using Jetpack Compose. What You Will Do Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the development of complex user interfaces and UI components for Android Automotive OS applications - Promoting the adoption of the MVVM architectural pattern and best practices within the UI team - Collaborating with the UX/UI design team, UI Architect, and Product Owner to ensure alignment on technical feasibility and user experience goals - Designing and implementing comprehensive unit and UI testing strategies using frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, and Compose testing - Proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and UI/UX issues - Guiding junior UI developers through peer reviews and pair programming What You Need To Be Successful To excel in this role, you should possess: - 3 to 6 years of experience in Android application development, with a strong focus on UI development using Jetpack Compose - Profound technical knowledge of Jetpack Compose, including its architecture and performance characteristics - Experience with Android Jetpack components, specifically ViewModel and StateFlow/SharedFlow - Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive UI testing strategies - Strong expertise in Kotlin development, particularly Coroutines Bonus Points if You Have Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include: - Domain knowledge in Navigation - Experience with Figma toolchain for understanding UI concepts and extracting assets What Makes You Eligible You should possess: - 3 to 6 years of experience in Android application development - Solid technical skills in Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack, and UI development - Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills What We Offer Working with us comes with: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools - Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance through BeBrilliant - The opportunity to collaborate with a renowned German OEM - Requirement to work all 5 days a week in the office You Belong Here At HARMAN, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment for every employee.
