Anaplan Developer

Purpose:

• Translate stakeholder requirements into comprehensive Anaplan models, utilising best practice to ensure scalability and efficiency
• Document model schemas, logic and rules clearly for other model builders, as well as end user processes, instructions and definitions for stakeholders
• Ensure the ongoing maintenance and governance of Anaplan models, including data integrity and availability, user access, and quality assurance. Provide end user support and issue resolution in a timely and effective manner, working with colleagues with the Anaplan Centre of Excellence to prioritise and address critical bugs and requested enhancements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining/optimising Anaplan models in line with best practice (scalable, sustainable, efficient)
• Provide end user support through change requests, capability uplift to enable self-service, and training support
• Stay across new developments within the Anaplan platform, including new feature releases, and proactively use your expertise to share knowledge, improve model quality and uplift end user experience
• Advanced data analysis and modelling, converting analysis into insights and recommendations
• Develop appropriate materials to communicate and present opportunities for relevant stakeholders
• Identifying and actively pursuing opportunities to improve capacity planning solutions across the Enterprise
• Creating requirements, solution design, delivery and functional documentations
• Conducting discovery sessions, sprint planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management and delivery of outputs within timeframes

Essential Requirements

• Experienced Anaplan model builder - certified
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, collaborate effectively
• Continuous learning mindset
• Risk awareness and governance
• Ability to work independently and self-manage multiple deadlines
• Understanding of hybrid agile methodologies
• Knowledge of other coding languages would be advantageous e.g. Python, SQL
• Experience in building reporting solutions in Power BI
