Payroll Processing End-to-end processing of monthly payroll for plant staff and workers. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, bonuses, arrears, and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS). Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement. Maintain and update attendance and leave records using biometric/time management systems. Address payroll-related queries from employees in a timely manner. Training & Development Identify training needs in coordination with HODs and create training calendars. Organize in-house training sessions for safety, soft skills, job skills, and compliance-related topics. Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness of training programs. Drive employee engagement and capability-building initiatives. Documentation & Compliance Maintain HR records, personnel files, joining documents, appraisal records, and exit documents. Ensure compliance with labour laws, standing orders, and company policies. Prepare and submit statutory returns (PF, ESIC, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.). Support in internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation. Industrial Relations (IR) Assist in maintaining harmonious employee relations at the plant. Handle grievances, disciplinary procedures, and counselling sessions in coordination with HR Manager. Coordinate with union representatives (if applicable) and support negotiation processes. Promote a healthy work environment through open communication and proactive resolution of conflicts. General Administration Supervise housekeeping, transport, canteen, and other facility services. Monitor security and safety protocols within the plant premises. Ensure upkeep of administrative records and support logistics for events and visits.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end plant operations, ensuring productivity, safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. Role & responsibilities Plant Setup Plan and lead the full plant setup: building layout, utility planning, and selecting machines and equipment. Design plant layout and workflow to ensure smooth operations and safety. Manufacturing Operations Set up production lines for sheet metal work, press operations, welding (including robotic welding), and fabrication. Ensure all machines and processes meet industry standards and customer requirements. Focus on quality, productivity, and reducing waste from the beginning. Team Building Hire and train staff for all departments: production, maintenance, quality, and logistics. Set clear responsibilities, KPIs, and performance goals for each team. Start of Production & Ramp-up Run pilot batches, support customer approvals, and scale up to full production. Work with customers and internal teams for product and process validation. Quality, Safety, and Compliance Ensure the plant meets all government and industry regulations. Build a strong safety culture and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Cost, Quality & Delivery Goals Keep startup and running costs under control while maintaining high quality. Ensure products are made right the first time and delivered on schedule. Implement lean practices like 5S, Kaizen, and TPM. Skills & Experience Needed: Hands-on experience in setting up and managing a manufacturing plant. Strong knowledge of sheet metal, welding processes, and automation. Experience with industry standards like IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. Good leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and digital tools is a plus.
