Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in India. This role will focus on driving sales and expanding the market presence of ASME's Standards & Conformity Assessment based Certification services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and engineering services, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships. Role & responsibilities Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities within the conformity assessment sector. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure new clients by presenting ASME's conformity assessment certification offerings. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing business and satisfaction. Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to close deals and secure contracts. Collaboration: Work closely with the Channel, Associations, Regional Chambers of commerce, EEPC, IEI, etc,.. for curating mutually beneficial business development opportunities in alignment with ASME's overall goals. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote ASME's services and network with potential clients. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the engineering or standards industry. Strong understanding of ASME standards and certification processes, including BPVC (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code) [1] , BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment) [2] , QPS (Quality Program for suppliers) [3] , and NQA (Nuclear Quality Assurance) [4] and GDTP (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional)[5] Nuclear Material Organisation certification [6] Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Role & responsibilities Position Summary : The Human Resources (HR) Specialist advises and assists employees on human resources policies and procedures for efficient execution of internal processes. The HR Specialist supports in functional areas of Human Resources (HR) which include recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, regulatory reporting requirements, and other areas as needed. In addition, specialist coordinates employee engagement activities and events. The HR Specialist will have a comprehensive understanding of ASMEs mission, vision, policies, and procedures, and support employees in administration of policies and procedures. The HR Specialist is required to maintain currency with HR current trends, issues, and best practices. Principal Responsibilities : Provide Administrative Support: The Human Resources (HR) Specialist will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. Respond to inquiries from employees and customers in a timely manner regarding policies and procedures, job searches, and HR services while maintaining standards of confidentiality and privacy. May participate in various committees and teams to resolve problems, develop systems, and improve interdepartmental cooperation and efficiencies. Manage Employee Information Will manage data collection, maintenance, storage, and retrieval of documentation related to recruitment and talent acquisition. Will manage the efficient flow of the workload processes including employment records related to hiring, transfer, promotion, and termination in the appropriate systems. Recruitment /Employment Services: Will assist with recruiting and selection activities while ensuring compliance with application procedures. Assist departments with recruiting, screening, and evaluation methodology development. Process employment requisitions; Review applications and screening for minimum requirements. Complete new hire paperwork and associated procedures to ensure the efficient processing of new employees. Coordinate Employee Onboarding AND Offboarding: Will follow ASMEs policies and procedures in onboarding and offboarding employees. The Specialist will work with managers to coordinate new employee orientations to assure a smooth transition into the workplace. Will conduct new hire orientation sessions to educate employees on ASMEs systems, policies, procedures, and technology. Demonstrate Professional and Quality Customer Service: The Human Resources Specialist will demonstrate professionalism and provide quality customer service in accordance with ASMEs values; maintain positive working relationships, and make decisions and solve problems; maintain confidentiality, positive communication, accurate records, and an organized, safe working environment; exhibit flexibility, willingness to learn, ability to change, and maintain current technology skills. Maintain liaison with colleagues and actively participate in professional development. Key Qualifications: Post graduation in HR would be preferred, preferably MBA/ PGDM in HR. 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role. Knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., salesforce, ADP, etc.). Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
