We are currently seeking an Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer to join our team in India. Our team has a rich history of over 25 years in developing software products and engineering solutions that enhance manufacturing processes globally. We work across diverse industries including food, polymers, biofuels, refining, and minerals processing, with a focus on improving product quality, production capacity, and energy efficiency. As an Advanced Process Control Engineer, you will be a key member of custom application delivery teams, utilizing Rockwell Automation's advanced analytics and model predictive control products to optimize our customers" manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include assessing customer processes, developing mathematical models for predictive analysis, and configuring online applications to enhance product quality, production capacity, and energy efficiency. You will oversee the technical implementation of projects from design to commissioning, including hardware installation and system integration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead technical project activities assigned by the Regional Technical Manager or Business Manager APAC - MPC - Identify and report technical issues that impact project performance - Provide project information related to cost performance and performance guarantees - Support documentation of best practices and mentor less experienced engineers - Offer product, engineering, and application support to existing customers - Conduct system health checks, performance analyses, and develop reports - Support Solution Consultant in market development activities and sales closure - Undertake professional development to enhance billability and cost-effectiveness - Support project staffing process to maximize department margin Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or relevant engineering discipline - Interest in automation, process control, and advanced model-predictive applications - 3+ years of experience in leading complex projects in a process industry - Proficiency in instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications - Experience with DCS, SCADA, HMI, and PLC configuration - Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the APAC region - Fluent in English and located near an international airport Additional Qualifications: - Experience in implementing advanced process control solutions - Familiarity with industrial computing, networking, and data communications - Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and predictive emissions monitoring systems Reporting to: Business Manager To learn more about our products and services, visit: https://www.rockwellautomation.com/global/products/advanced-process-control We offer a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
