Admission Counselor

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and proactive Preschool Counselor to support the emotional, social, and behavioral development of young children (ages 2 to 6). The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes overall well-being and early emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and assess children’s behavior, emotions, and social development.

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to children who may need emotional or behavioral support.

• Collaborate with teachers to design and implement classroom strategies that promote positive behavior.

• Guide and counsel parents on age-appropriate emotional and social development.

• Conduct workshops for staff and parents on child psychology, behavior management, and early intervention.

• Identify any developmental delays or concerns and refer to specialists if needed.

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress over time.

• Support school-wide well-being and mental health initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Child Development / Counseling or related field.

• Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.

• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to connect with young children and create a safe, trusting space.

• Knowledge of early childhood development and behavioral interventions.

• Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive.
