Job Description for Accountant at Safex Fire Services Ltd., Mumbai Safex Fire Services Ltd., a 50 year old family managed enterprise, is one of the largest manufacturers of fire safety equipment in the country. We are a rapidly growing company aiming to build in-house expertise in areas such as GST, Income Tax, Customs, Accounting Standards, and related fields. Job Location: Mumbai (Andheri East) Branch Offices & Factories: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Secunderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Palghar Positions: 3 Accounting Software: Spectrum ERP (Easy excel-like software, prior experience not necessary) Key Responsibilities: · GST: Preparing data for GST Returns, address GST mismatch reports, etc. · Accounts Receivables: Debtors follow-up, account reconciliation, accounting of debit/credit notes · Accounts Payable: Release payments, monitor deductions if any · Imports: Checking Import invoices & CHA bills, entry of import bills · Expense Accounting: Making entries of expenses · Salary Computation & payments · Banking & Finance: Bank Reco, Bank receipt entries, monthly stock reports, checking LC outstanding, forex management, fund flow preparation · Any other accounts/admin related work Qualification: · Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) Salary: CTC 2.5-3.5 LPA (depending on candidate) (Local train pass shall be provided.
