The Accounting Specialist will support the Country Controller in managing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting processes, and ensuring accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
a. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
b. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
a. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
b. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
a. Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and other legal requirements.
b. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
a. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Country Controller.
b. Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights for decision-making.
a. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
b. Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and technologies as needed.
a. Work closely with the Country Controller and other finance team members to support financial objectives.
b. Provide guidance and assistance to other departments on financial matters as required.
