Roles and Responsibilities of an Accountant: Record all transactions accurately and reconcile accounts. Prepare balance sheets, income statements and other reports. Perform cost and general ledger analysis. Complete tax audits ensuring compliance. Review contracts and process payments. Examine financial discrepancies. Create and implement new accounting systems. Consult management on financial strategy. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. B.com in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree. Hands-on experience with accounting software like TALLY PRIME & TALLY ERP 9. Knowledge of GST & TDS. Purchase and sales entry.
