As an ABAP Developer at SAP Fioneer, you will be a valuable team member in a cross-functional SCRUM team based in India. Your primary responsibility will be to develop high-quality software collaboratively with your team. You are expected to demonstrate excellent development, quality, and delivery skills within scrum teams, adapting to short development and release cycles seamlessly. Additionally, you will work with geographically distributed teams, showcasing learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts. Following agile software engineering methods, you will engage in all aspects of software development including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation, while displaying strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your tasks as an ABAP Developer will include developing new products and software features based on the AGILE development methodology, designing new software features, testing new software and addressing any issues during testing phases, as well as analyzing and resolving (complex) issues in existing and new releases of the product. To qualify for this role, you are required to possess an academic degree in Computer Science - Engineering or a comparable qualification, along with 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in the product technology stack including ABAP, CDS/HANA, FIORI, and OData is essential, while experience in SAP application development or expertise in financial services application development would be advantageous.
