Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive SAP Basis Consultant or experienced SAP Mid-Senior Basis Consultant with 6-10 years (Immediate Joiner) of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, upgrades, installations, migrations, and performance optimization. SAP Basis Consultant e xperienced SAP Mid-Senior Basis Consultant with over 6-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, upgrades, installations, migrations, and performance tuning. Proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4 HANA, SAP Router, Business Objects, and Solution Manager. GRC, SDI, OpenText, ICC, Cloud Connectors. Capable of working in both on-premise and Cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing SAP Basis operations, system administration, performance optimization, and integration support. This role is best suited for professionals with a deep technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle client-facing responsibilities independently. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support SAP systems including ECC, EWM, CAR, NW, Java, BODS, and SLT. Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.) Manage and configure SAP Solution Manager 7.2, specifically: Alert Monitoring Change Request Management (ChaRM) Monitor SAP systems using Solution Manager and other monitoring tools. Administer SAP HANA Database: Performance tuning and system health checks, publish the reports. HANA table partitioning and replication Experience with SLT Replication in Central Finance (CFIN) scenarios. Conduct kernel upgrades and Support Package Stack (SPS) implementations. Perform installations and upgrades using Software Update Manager (SUM). Contribute to S/4HANA conversion readiness and assessments. Manage daily client communications and ongoing operations support. Oversee operations of PI/PO systems and related integrations. Configure and maintain SAP connectivity with internal and external systems. Execute system refresh, backup, and restore procedures. Kernel upgrades using Software Upgrade Manager for JAVA systems. Provide comprehensive Database Administration (DBA) support across SAP landscapes. Preferred candidate profile: Proven experience in SAP Basis administration and system landscape management. Provided 24/7 production support and resolved high-priority incidents under tight SLAs. Maintain high availability and disaster recovery for SAP environments Document technical procedures and configurations Strong expertise in SAP HANA; exposure to Oracle Database is an added advantage. Practical knowledge of SLT replication and Central Finance (CFIN) processes. Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 including ChaRM and monitoring. Hands-on experience with system installations, upgrades, SUM, and refreshes. Working knowledge of SAP PI/PO integrations. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal, written communication skills and Business presentation skills Capable of managing tasks independently in client-facing environments. Managing the team. Mentor and support junior BASIS consultants, build a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Additional Considerations: SAP BASIS certification or relevant SAP technical certifications. Experience in SAP Solution Manager, and Fiori Proven experience in project management is a plus Preferred from Retail Sector is a plus
