Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead 3D Engineer to spearhead our development team As the technical cornerstone of our projects, you will lead architecture design, guide engineers, and take ownership of building and scaling our real-time 3D experiences This is a leadership role that combines hands-on development with strategic technical direction. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the 3D/Tech development team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. Architect and implement high-performance 3D applications using engines such as Unity or Unreal. Drive the technical vision and ensure alignment with product goals and timelines. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and business teams to deliver engaging interactive experiences. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold clean coding standards. Optimize performance for various platforms (WebGL, mobile, AR/VR). Stay current with 3D rendering, simulation, and real-time technologies, and integrate best practices into development. Requirements 5+ years of experience in 3D software/game/app development. Expertise in Unity or Unreal Engine, with strong C#/C++ programming skills. Proven experience leading development teams or owning technical roadmaps. Deep understanding of 3D graphics pipelines, shaders, lighting, physics, and animation systems. Experience in optimizing applications for performance and scalability. Solid grasp of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions quickly. Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or other web-based 3D frameworks. Background in AR/VR/XR development. Familiarity with multiplayer networking frameworks like Mirror, Photon, or Netcode for GameObjects. Experience in agile methodologies and sprint-based planning.
