Software Engineer Testing

As a Node.js (Software Engineer Testing) at our company, you will be responsible for developing and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs and Microservices using JavaScript technologies. Your role will involve creating end-to-end Automation test suites using Playwright or Selenium, preferably using a BDD approach. You should have a minimum of 5 years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and test scalable and highly available Restful APIs and Microservices using JavaScript technologies - Create end-to-end Automation test suites using Playwright or Selenium, preferably using a BDD approach - Utilize CI/CD principles and troubleshoot issues in distributed services ecosystem - Work with containerization technologies like Dockers and Kubernetes - Collaborate on API gateway integrations like 3Scale - Implement Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth) - Utilize task/message queues such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience - Minimum 5 years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies - Hands-on experience with TypeScript - Familiarity with Automation Testing Techniques and Tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, and Selenium - Experience with GraphQL and CI/CD principles - Understanding of containerization technologies like Dockers and Kubernetes - Exposure to API gateway integrations like 3Scale - Knowledge of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication methods (Rest, JWT, oAuth) - Expertise in task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka In addition, we are looking for someone who can influence multiple teams on technical considerations, share deep knowledge and experience to increase productivity, and effectively interact and present ideas to Senior and Executive management.
