ITAM Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ITAM (IT Asset Management) Engineer to oversee the administration, configuration, integration, and ongoing management of our IT Asset Management systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Asset Lifecycle Management, License Management, and CMDB oversight, with hands-on experience using platforms like Flexera. This role will support the organization’s goals in optimizing software/hardware investments, ensuring compliance, and enabling effective decision-making through accurate asset data.

Key Responsibilities:

• ITAM Platform Administration
• Administer, configure, and maintain ITAM tools, primarily Flexera, to support enterprise ITAM functions.
• Manage integrations between ITAM systems and other platforms such as CMDB, ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow), SCCM, and procurement systems.
• Asset Lifecycle Management
• Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and software) from procurement to disposal.
• Ensure consistent data hygiene and completeness in asset records across all lifecycle stages.
• License Management
• Manage software license entitlements, consumption, and compliance.
• Work with procurement and vendors to optimize license usage and reduce compliance risk.
• CMDB Oversight & Data Integrity
• Ensure IT asset data is accurately represented and reconciled within the CMDB.
• Collaborate with configuration managers to align asset and configuration records.
• Process Improvement & Compliance
• Identify opportunities to automate ITAM processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Support audit activities by providing accurate reports and evidence of asset tracking and licensing.
• Reporting & Analytics
• Generate reports and dashboards related to asset status, compliance, and lifecycle metrics.

Provide insights and recommendations based on asset data trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
