Job Description

3D Environment & Prop Artist

Key Responsibilities

Create
high-quality 3D models
of environments, props, and world assets from concept to in-game integration.
Develop
modular kits, tiling materials, and prop sets
to support large-scale world building.
Ensure all assets are optimized for
Unity performance
without sacrificing visual fidelity.
Collaborate with designers to create
gameplay-friendly spaces
that support player navigation and storytelling.
Work with artists to deliver assets with consistent
PBR workflows, shaders, and lighting
.
Contribute to
environment storytelling
through placement, detail, and visual composition.
Maintain and expand the
environment asset library
for production scalability.

Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience in
environment and prop creation for games
.
Proficiency in
Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop
.
Strong understanding of
PBR texturing, modular workflows, UV mapping, and optimization techniques
.
Experience creating both
organic and hard-surface assets
.
Familiarity with
Unity
or other real-time engines.
Strong sense of
composition, scale, and storytelling
in environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative art pipeline.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of
procedural tools
(Houdini, SpeedTree, World Machine, Gaea).
Experience in
shader/material authoring
.
Passion for
architecture, cultural references, and real-world details
that enhance authenticity.
