Job Title: Regional Sales Manager General Trade & Modern Trade Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Industry: Mobile Accessories Experience Required: 410 years in Sales (Mobile Accessories Industry only) Reporting To: National Sales Head / Zonal Sales Head Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead our General Trade, Modern Trade and distributor operations in Bengaluru and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the mobile accessories sector, with hands-on experience in managing distributors, retail networks, key accounts, and modern trade channels. Key Responsibilities: General Trade (GT): Develop and manage a robust channel network (distributors, dealers, and retailers) for mobile accessories across Bengaluru and nearby markets. Drive secondary and tertiary sales through efficient distribution and retail strategies. Plan and execute trade schemes, promotions, and activations to increase product visibility and shelf share. Ensure distributor ROI and profitability through proper planning and support. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and share actionable insights with the leadership team. Modern Trade (MT): Manage relationships with major modern trade partners (Apple Premium Stores Reliance Digital, Croma, Poorvika, Sangeetha, etc.) Handle listing, promotions, planogram compliance, and in-store visibility. Collaborate with marketing teams for in-store branding, POSM deployment, and consumer offers. Monitor sales performance across MT outlets and drive sales targets through field teams. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage sales executives/promoters across GT and MT channels. Conduct regular reviews, performance evaluations, and provide field training & mentoring. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred. Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in the mobile accessories domain. Strong network of trade partners and retail connections in Bengaluru and Karnataka. Excellent understanding of GT and MT dynamics in consumer electronics or mobile accessories. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Comfortable with travel and fieldwork. Compensation: As per industry standards + Incentives + Travel Allowance
