Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Z Power Impex Pvt Ltd Location: Chandigarh, Punjab Department: Sales & Marketing Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Head Experience Required: 3+ years in sales, preferably in batteries, automotive, or electrical sectors Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and expand our battery sales operations across Punjab. The ideal candidate will have strong dealer/channel management experience, deep knowledge of the local market, and a proven track record in driving sales growth in the battery or related industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. Market Expansion: Identify new markets, channels, and opportunities to grow sales in Punjab. Dealer & Distributor Management: Appoint, manage, and motivate dealers/distributors to achieve consistent performance. Team Leadership: Manage a team of Sales Officers or Sales Executives, providing training, support, and performance management. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, mechanics, fleet owners, and retailers. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to develop effective sales strategies. Promotions & Campaigns: Execute local marketing activities, product promotions, and awareness drives in coordination with the marketing team. Reporting: Regularly update management on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback through MIS reports. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in the showroom with professionalism and enthusiasm. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate battery products and accessories. Provide technical knowledge and guidance on battery usage, maintenance, and warranties. Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the showroom’s overall performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all battery products, promotions, and industry trends. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service.
